Nordurljos Middle School Scandinavian Dancers
The group that started it all!
Nordurljos is a Scandinavian folk dance group for children entering 5th through 8th grade. In addition to performing at the annual Junction City Scandinavian Festival each August, Nordurljos dancers also have opportunities to perform at other events throughout the Eugene, Oregon area.
Practices begin in October, and the group welcomes new members through January 31 each year. After that, the group is closed to new members from February 1 through September to allow for focused preparation and rehearsals.

We’d love to have you! No partner or dance experience is required — just bring your enthusiasm. Our experienced instructors will teach all the steps and patterns you need to feel confident and have fun.

Attend a Public Class
Our instructors and volunteers are constantly educating themselves on dances and concepts. Periodically, they host open workshops that are free and open to everyone! These classes may focus on specific dance steps, patterns, or explore dances from a particular country — Scandinavian or beyond.
